Hello everyone,
Back in July 2009, BLM has launched it's 1st Christmas Gift Giving campaign and after 5 months, we have received P150,000 cash donations from 79 donors, and approximately P20,000 worth of school supplies, medicines and snacks from residents and suppliers. The December 12, 2009 Christmas affair benefited 200 LNHS students and 300 pupils from LES and Marivic Elementary school.
This year, BLM has lots of projects in store which will be published in our website very soon.
Meantime, as your Founder, I have thought of appealing again at this early stage to share your blessings to the elementary and high school students who will be enrolling by June 2010 by giving school supplies, school bags, uniforms, shirts, socks, umbrellas, raincoats, jackets, rain boots. other school supplies, medicines, vitamins or anything. Any donation, cash or in kind, will be highly appreciated.
As of this writing, there are nearly 500 registered BLM members. Assuming that each member will share P200 each, that would amount to P100,000, that can purchase quite a number of school supplies and probably assist some parents in paying the tuition fees of their children, and that will be a relief and big help to the parents of the students. By June, the number of registered members might double or triple, therefore, if more donations will be received, we can support all our other projects in storeā¦. all for the benefit of Lepanto residents.
Thank you again and should you wish to donate, kindly indicate your name and amount below this thread. You can also deposit direct to our bank account provided in our website.
